Instrument Repairs
This is a typical example of a repair carried out in the workshop.
Dents are softened on the bow of an alto saxophone using modern tooling and traditional burnishing methods.
The third image shows a cornet that has come in for servicing. As demonstrated in the video, the build-up of valve oil and slide grease from regular use is removed using modern equipment and controlled techniques.
Over the years, the workshop has evolved through advancements in equipment and processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all repairs.
